Monomakh's story began in 1991 with one ambition: to offer Ukrainian consumers quality tea made with respect for tradition and meticulous attention to every detail. Monomakh became the first tea brand of independent Ukraine.
From the very beginning, we believed that good tea starts with choosing the right leaves. That belief has guided us as we seek outstanding teas, explore the character of different growing regions and build a product range that brings together quality, variety and accessibility. Monomakh: Our Story
Founded
The Monomakh brand dates back to 1991, when JSC Monomakh was founded. Soon after the company began operating, it launched its tea under that name. Monomakh became the first tea of independent Ukraine.
FSSC 22000 Certification
The Monomakh factory was among the first in Ukraine to earn the international FSSC 22000 certification, attesting to the quality and safety of our products.
Working Toward Victory
Production facilities were rebuilt, and the factory has continued working for Ukraine. Since 2022, the "Tea for Heroes" volunteer program delivers Monomakh tea to Ukraine's defenders.
